This year’s heat-loving flowers are my usual favorites: Dahlias, Lisanthis, Zinnias, Cosmos, and Scabiosa. These blooms bring vibrant colors and texture that thrive in summer’s warmth. Alongside these stars, a variety of supporting characters add whimsical charm to each bouquet, creating playful and dynamic compositions.
To capture the true local flavor, I favor using a heavy hand with stems—each bouquet is abundant and full-bodied. I don’t follow the typical counting stems method; instead, I focus on layering textures and shapes until the arrangement feels lush and complete.
Whether wrapped elegantly or displayed in a charming mason jar, these summer bouquets celebrate the season’s natural beauty with a relaxed, abundant style that’s perfect for any occasion.
